Welcome to Season Registration with De Pere Youth Hockey!
The Wisconsin Amateur Hockey Association (WAHA) and USA Hockey have adopted online registration that requires parents to register each skater’s name and address for each season and pay a registration fee directly to USA Hockey. This is in addition to completing the De Pere Youth Hockey registration forms and fees.
Ages
Ages 6 and up with at least one session of Learn to Skate.
Ages 4-6 will have a separate registration that will open in October.
When
Warm up skates begin in early September. Tryouts are typically September/early October. Practices begin mid October. Games run from late October through the end of February. State tournaments are held the first two weeks of March.
Where
Practices and home games are at De Pere Ice Arena with some practices at Cornerstone Community Center.
Practices
Teams practice 2-3 times per week.

**Scrip users, please enter promo code "SCRIP" to bypass payment. An invoice will be emailed to you in early September with your balance due after applying scrip credits. Payment should be submitted at the time of invoice receipt. If applicable, the Early Bird or Goalie discount will be applied prior to invoicing.
Goalies use code "GOALIE" for 40% discount
Early Bird discount use code "EARLYBIRD" for a $50 discount if you register prior to 8/15

Warm Ups & Tryouts
WARM UPS
Warm up skates will begin the week of September 18th and will be posted in the calendar soon.
TRYOUTS
Tryouts for Squirt (10U), Peewee (12U), and Bantam (14U) levels are anticipated to be October 2nd and 4th. Communication will be sent when dates and details are finalized.
The first week of practice, coaches will assign Mite players (8U) to a team with players will similar skill levels.

Below is the anticipated practice schedule for players.
- Hockey Initiation Program (HIP)/Mite Blue - Tue/Thu 5:15-6:20 PM
- Mite Red/White - Mon/Wed 6:00-6:50 PM
- Squirts - Tue/Thu 6:20-7:35 PM
- Peewee - Mon/Wed - 7:00-8:05 PM
- Bantam - Mon/Wed 8:15-9:30 PM

REGISTRATION details
The registration session will allow you to complete contact information, submit medical information, read and sign consents, provide volunteering preferences, register your skater(s) for hockey, and pay online.
Step 1: Each player needs a current USA Hockey number - you will need to register with USA Hockey to obtain a USA Hockey number for each player that will be entered and confirmed during the registration process for DPYH.
Step 2: Please read through each page carefully to ensure that all information is provided accurately. At the end, you will be prompted to register additional skaters.
**For scrip users, please enter promo code "SCRIP" (not EARLYBIRD) to bypass payment. You will still receive the early bird discount if you register before August 15th.
Step 3: To complete registration please have your Visa, MasterCard, Discover or checking account information available - all payments are handled via the secure registration site.
Step 4 - Required Only One Time: Players need to have a WAHA Annotation of Birth Record Facts on file with DPYH. This requires completing the form and presenting a legal birth certificate at the parent meeting. Note: this form only needs to be completed one time for each player (not annually).
All players must have completed registrations, WAHA Annotation form on file with DPYH, and have fees paid/installment plan up to date prior to tryouts in order to participate.
