HIP/Learn to Play
Program Overview
Learn to Play/Hockey Initiation Program (HIP) is a GREAT & FUN way to learn the basics of hockey. If your child can walk on skates, they can join the HIP program. The focus of the HIP program is to get the kids comfortable on the ice wearing their equipment, basic hockey moves and having fun!
Children as young as 4 years old can sign up and kids as old as 8 or 9 start with HIP before moving up to a higher level.

Can I sign my child up for multiple sessions?
Answer: YES!
What will my child need for equipment?
Your skater will need full hockey gear. Used gear is a great option for beginners and can be found at Play It Again Sports in Ashwaubenon.

Registration Process
Step 1: Each player needs a current USA Hockey number - you will need to register with USA Hockey to obtain a USA Hockey number for each player that will be entered and confirmed during the registration process for DPYH.
Step 2: Please read through each page carefully to ensure that all information is provided accurately. At the end, you will be prompted to register additional skaters.
Step 3: To complete registration please have your Visa, MasterCard, Discover or checking account information available - all payments are handled via the secure registration site.
